The Role
As an Associate Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and delivering planning projects. You’ll work closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to guide projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with local policies and planning regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of planning applications and appeals.
- Provide expert advice to clients on planning strategies.
- Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies.
- Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit high-quality planning documents and reports.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
About You
- Degree in town planning or a related field.
- MRTPI or working towards membership.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and policies.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a consultancy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach with exceptional attention to detail.
