Our client is a leading Structural and Civil Engineering design consultancy based in Glasgow. They have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer, with at least 3 years’ experience, to join their team.

Civil Engineer Role Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working for a UK based civil engineering consultancy.
- Proven track record in managing and exceeding clients' expectations
Key skills:
- Production of site appraisals, strategy and conceptual layouts/master planning for both drainage and highways infrastructure.
- Earthworks cut and fill concept and detailed modelling.
- Liaising with Water Companies, Local Authorities and the EA to agree drainage strategies and negotiation of discharges from development sites.
- Non-major highways design and detailing and negotiation of works (Section 38, Section 278 works etc.).
- Experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D, Causeway Flow software.
- Private and Adoptable FW and SW drainage design and detailing (Section 104, Section 185 works etc. attenuation facilities pond, tanks swales etc., SUDS design and detailing)
- Drainage hydraulic modelling using Microdrainage (Windes Package)
