Graduate Planner

I am working with a leading planning consultancy based in the picturesque county of Buckinghamshire. This company has a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable planning solutions, we work on a diverse range of projects. They are looking to extend their company by adding to it with an ambitious Graduate Planner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy and kickstart your planning career.
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a positive impact on the built environment. You will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s senior planning team in delivering high-quality planning services to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to assist in the development of planning strategies and proposals.
- Prepare planning reports, assessments, and documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to facilitate project communication.
- Attend site visits and meetings, contributing to project discussions and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with planning legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and regulations.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using planning-related software and tools.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
