Ideal candidates for this Senior Infrastructure Engineer position will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the UK, with an aspiration to gain Incorporated or Chartered status.
It is essential that the successful candidate has significant recent experience in all civil-related design aspects of large-scale logistics development projects to suit our growing workload in projects in the commercial sector from pre-planning through to construction. The candidate would need to show experience in highways, external works, earthworks modelling and drainage for these types of projects.
Experience in highway and drainage design and bulk earthworks modelling with a working knowledge of UK design standards is needed, together with the ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables.
- Design of infrastructure for commercial, retail, residential and industrial sectors including SUDS drainage systems, roads to adoptable & DMRB standards.
- Liaison with statutory bodies such as Scottish Water, Roads Department, SEPA
- Be proficient in the use of relevant technical analysis, design software e.g. PDS/Civils 3D/Micro Drainage and AutoCAD.
- Willing to attend design meetings, site meetings and carryout site inspections.
- Liaise and communicate clearly in a professional manner to colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to your work.
- Work on projects with consideration to the agreed project budgetary limits and time tables.

This is a full-time office-based role for a Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for civil engineering design, planning, stormwater management including Section Agreements with Water and Highway Authorities and general civil engineering duties.
