Working as a Civil Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to infrastructure and environmental initiatives. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and professionals committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Carrying out desktop flood risk assessments on sites varying in size across all flood zones
• Producing surface and foul water drainage strategies and drawings, including SuDS strategies
• Preparing flood risk assessment and drainage strategy reports
• Undertake hydraulic drainage modelling using Infodrainage/Site 3D/Civils 3D
• Preparing responses to comments from the local planning authority/LLFA/highway authorities/RSA Teams etc
• Undertake detailed design of below ground drainage, including production of drawings
• Liaison with design team and stakeholders
• Making applications such as pre-application enquiries, S104/S106, EA consents, S278/S38 Etc
• S278/S38 highway design. Undertake the feasibility, preliminary and detailed design of highways schemes to MfS, DMRB and local authority standards using AutoCAD software
• Production of 2d CAD drawings and 3D models
