Position: Town Planner
Location: Leeds, UK

About the Role
As a Town Planner, you’ll work on a variety of projects that contribute to the growth and sustainability of Leeds and the surrounding areas. From managing planning applications to providing expert advice, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful urban solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage planning applications and appeals.
- Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies, and development assessments.
- Advise clients on planning policies, development strategies, and legal compliance.
- Collaborate with local authorities, developers, and community groups.
- Stay up-to-date with planning laws, policies, and emerging trends.
About You
We’re looking for a motivated professional with:
- A degree in Town Planning, Urban Design, or a related field (RTPI accreditation or working towards it is desirable).
- Experience in a planning role, ideally within the public or private sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and local planning frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A passion for creating sustainable and community-focused developments.
