This highly reputable consultancy based in Central London are looking for a Planner to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting planning projects, providing planning advice, and contributing to the development of urban projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
• Conduct site assessments and assist in preparing development feasibility studies.
• Liaise with local authorities, community groups, and other stakeholders.
• Provide support in public consultations and represent the company at planning committees.
• Ensure compliance with relevant planning legislation and policies.
• Conduct research and analysis to support planning projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Support senior planning staff and work collaboratively within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a planning role.
• Working towards Chartered membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) is a plus.
• Good understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
